Meet Jack Charewicz: The Founder Building Australia's Reusable Cup System

Jack Charewicz is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Revibes, the reusable cup system keeping single-use waste out of Australia's biggest festivals, stadiums and venues. He is one of the most experienced reusable packaging operators in the Asia-Pacific region — and the driving force behind Revibes' Wash · Renew · Revibe model.

From renewable energy to the circular economy

Before founding Revibes, Jack Charewicz held senior management roles at two renewable energy companies and worked in private investment. That commercial background now shapes how he builds Revibes: commercially rigorous, operationally grounded, and designed to scale across Australia and New Zealand.

APAC Director at TURN

Jack was APAC Director at TURN, the US reuse technology company backed by Live Nation and Sound Ventures, the venture fund of Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary. He led TURN's expansion across the Asia-Pacific region until the company was acquired by European reuse group Vytal.

His record at TURN reads like a highlights reel of the region's reuse milestones:

  • Delivered Australia's first inflight reuse system with Bonza
  • Oversaw a six-flight reusable cup trial with Air New Zealand
  • Was part of Starbucks' reusable cup trial in Napa Valley and Petaluma, California

Recognition: from PepsiCo to CEO of the Year

In 2023, Jack Charewicz was selected for PepsiCo's accelerator program and spoke on stage at PepsiCo's annual investor and company-wide event in Singapore. In 2025, he was named a winner of the APAC CEO Excellence Awards by APAC Insider.

Why he founded Revibes

For all the innovation he saw overseas, Jack believed Australia needed a reusable cup system built for Australian conditions — big festivals, major stadiums, and a hospitality sector ready for deposit-free reuse. Revibes supplies the cups, the industrial washing, the logistics and the custom branding, and tracks every circulation so events can prove their impact with real numbers.

Above all, Jack's biggest achievement and driving force are his two sons, Oli and Nico — the reason he is building a cleaner, better world through reuse.
